Gemini n00b Q Say someone is new to Gemini, what would you suggest them to do? what to read? where to write? should they sync their WordPress blog to Gemini? Any and all tips are appreciated.
Re Moving Just finished helping /u/norayr move some stuff to his new appartment. Hopefully in the coming months we'll move his servers from my old place to his new place. It's been a productive day.
Re Gemini protocol I'm liking the Gemini protocol for now, I think it's awesome. There are some things that it lacks, like I feel that all Gemini sites don't have proper SSL/TLS also the lack of POST-ish method is weird, I think it would be useful, also GET-only is nicer for CGI apps. But let's see how it evolves.
What do you do when you have so much work to do and so little time?
We had an awesome meetup on our FreeBSD Jail weekly calls. We talked about POSIX/Unix compliance, Release Engineering, CPU pinning, and my favourate, obersvebility. Excuse my typos, Lagrange's text box does not support spell-checking, altho that would've been awesome. The meetup has been uploaded to YouTube, but I don't want to post a HTTP link on Gemini.
