Gender isn't real: it's just an idea
Transitioning on the job — I've been sitting on a blog post for a few years now about my experience with transitioning at my old job. A core point of it is how once they finally saw me as "not man" (though obviously not "lady") they started treating me like shit, pushing me out, and straight up lying to get rid of me. I've just got two problems with it: it's incredibly lengthy and I don't have the energy to edit it. People will get upset and I don't want to start another round of cis folk...
I am once again begging native speakers of the English language to understand what a pronoun is.
Love (sarcasm) that pride month is barely over and I'm already seeing priveleged folk try to tell us that we should be quieter about our struggles and blaming us for our oppressors' actions. Really good. Keep it up.
Feel kinda weird being the first post on this board, but it's pride and feels weirder for there to be no posts at all... No burning, personal message or anything.
