I've been sitting on a blog post for a few years now about my experience with transitioning at my old job. A core point of it is how once they finally saw me as "not man" (though obviously not "lady") they started treating me like shit, pushing me out, and straight up lying to get rid of me.
I've just got two problems with it: it's incredibly lengthy and I don't have the energy to edit it. People will get upset and I don't want to start another round of cis folk yelling at trans folk.

Why not make the blog post here on Gemini? Then you can get the story out of your drafts and into the world, but with minimal risk of anyone who was involved ever seeing it.
Also, it could be helpful for some people to hear about your experience, even if it wasn't a completely happy one. You're definitely not the only one in that kind of situation.
I'm not going to pretend to understand your experience, but I encourage you to write it and publish it somewhere. You should not have to worry about how people are going to react to you simply speaking about your life.

And @jeang3nie, I've been meaning to mention.. when you first wrote about the supreme court decision I honestly thought you were a queer person, I haven't seen anyone else care so much. I was very surprised when you later wrote that you're not queer. Surprised and relieved. It feels very nice to have support from people outside of our group :)
god yea I'm not looking forward to being out soon at work. i work in construction and idk how to deal with being out, but I'm 6 months on estrogen and waiting to get my new birth certificate in the mail sooo I'm gonna find out how that goes very soon i guess
@sugar watching with concern from over here in Europe. I don't usually comment on US politics as it feels unhelpful to "get involved" when I can't actually get involved.
I really hope it works out for you. It's easier to start a new life at a new job, that way people don't have to adjust their image of you. A lot of people are not very flexible after the first impression... But a new job is not always an option.
And please do write. I don't think anyone here would 'yell' at trans folk...
Definitely a fear I've been having, not gonna let it stop me, but man if the anxiety doesn't make things difficult.
