I'm working on a homebrew Gameboy tarot card reader. I don't know if this post is better suited for s/pixelart at the moment, as I haven't started any GBz80 ASM programming yet on the project, but I have been working on the artwork for a bit for each of the 78 tarot cards specifically from the Rider Waite deck that uses Pamela Colman Smith's illustrations. What do you consider the most technically (graphics, sound, content) impressive GB/GBC/GBA games? As a kid, I was always impressed by the ā3dā graphics of Driver 2 on GBA. And recently I saw the incredible tomb raider port for GBA.

Robopon! Has anyone played these games? They were contemporaries with Pokemon but did not get nearly as much attention. We only got "Sun Version" in the US (not sure why they didn't bring Star over at the same time), but I've recently gotten both Sun and Star in Japanese. I had the English one as as kid but it's too expensive to buy again now lol. Would love to hear if anyone has any memories of this game.
