Docking Bay

The air is damp and smells foul, like week-old corpses. That gives you some clue about where the crew is. Lights are flickering on and off. The flashlight mounted on your rifle is a more reliable light source.

So... Electrical problems. Probably dead bodies. There may be multiple reasons the outpost stopped communicating. You search the room, looking behind large crates that have been tossed around by gravity malfunction or shockwaves. One of you spots something odd: a large crack going straight through the hull on the wall facing the Ockerland. It's been closed by automatically deployed sealant. The translucent gray kind. You see the maelstrom through it. Magnificent, but worryingly pulsating.

Right. Add the possibility of sudden atmospheric decompression to your list of dangers. Everybody puts their helmets back on, making sure the seal between helmet and suit is airtight.
