You're Attacked by an Alien!

A many-legged monster attacks from the shadows. It's fast, it's big, it's ferocious. You fight frantically with all you have, defending your position and attempting to evacuate the room.

What Happens?

1. You lose a member of your team, but the battle rages on. Roll again.

2. You evacuate the room in a hurry, the monster following. Choose an exit from your current room randomly, and roll on this table again.

3. You make a controlled retreat and manage to push the monster in a different direction, but spend all your ammunition in the effort. Until you can refill you'll have to modify any roll on this table by -2. Choose where you go next.

4. You fight the monster off, but one of your team members suffers an injury and will not be able to participate in the next fight; until they can be treated you'll have to modify any roll on this table by -1 (remember that the weakest always die first).

5. You fight the monster off, but if you have the Data Core you drop it. Spend another turn in this room to pick it up (roll on the 'What Happens?' table as if just entering).

6. Pfft! That was nothing! Weak, pathetic monster! It stood no chance against your coordinated assault.
