Greetings! Welcome to rebello's Gemini Capsule! I have started using Gemini as I am unhappy with the modern web. I've always been quite anti-web commercialization, I feel it detracts from it's orignal meaning and use.
Make no doubt, W3 is an excellent protocol, it's the content, use, and the sheer amount of ads that ruin it.
On the flip side, I believe it is unfair to compare the two. While W3 is clearly superior technically, with it's multimedia capabilities. Gemini is much better, not to mention more painless, for information gathering and document delivery.
I'm currently in the process of porting my content over from Gopher and preparing my capsule!
