Once again the earth has completed a revolution around the sun, and Solene calls upon us to dust off our old computers, in case they had a chance to collect any dust in the first place. The challenge this year is simple, 1 cpu core and 512MB of RAM, or just use an old machine, and not tech reviewer "old", but decently old. This is the third iteration of the challenge but my first time taking part in it.
My warriors are going to be the Thinkpad 600x (1999) running Devuan daedalus with i3, and the Asus Eee PC 701/Eee PC 4G (2007) running Debian bookworm with sway
The Eee PC has 2GB of RAM (but only 4GB of storage)
i put weechat on my "homeserver" so i can switch between machines seamlessly
