As I enter The Midnight the door doesn't open like it usually does. I wonder. As I come in and see a bit more in the dim light, I see seven bats flying around trying to put a wire across the room into some corner. I stand and stare. As my eyes get better accustomed, I realize, they have made a complete mess. You better watch your step and stay clear ... Some new patron is sitting at the bar, watching them bats and trying to direct their efforts. He says something like "end fed antenna". And yes indeed, one end is fed into a half empty bottle of moonshine, or what it was. Interesting show, but somehow I doubt that the thing will do any good apart from taking up space. Sigh. Not my day, it seems. ~bartender? I see, that moonshine is used elsewhere, then I go for a stout. Thanks!

~bartender, I'll have a stout as well. Bats are fun to watch, and a good distraction to my day...
