As I enter The Midnight the door doesn't open like it usually does. I wonder. As I come in and see a bit more in the dim light, I see seven bats flying around trying to put a wire across the room into some corner. I stand and stare. And yes indeed, one end is fed into a half empty bottle of moonshine, or what it was. Interesting show, but somehow I doubt that the thing will do any good apart from taking up space. Sigh.
