This is that other side of the 'influence' coin - it's fine, I didn't mind listening to it, other bands later do it better. The songs never stand out as a whole. Bits do. There's atmosphere and a feeling that pervades the whole thing.
I read "Everybody Loves Out Town", so I have some understanding of how everyone involved in the 'scene' in the area feels about the world grunge - mostly not hugely positive. But this sounds like a good enough reference point for 'early grunge' that it works on the list as *that*. I'm writing this the day after hearing it and have already forgotten every song.
