> Microsoft is a national security threat, says ex-White House cyber policy director

THE article above is timely because Microsoft employees inside the so-called 'Linux' Foundation are trying to change the subject and associate Linux with "backdoors". The Open Source Initiative (OSI) does the same to a lesser degree*.

The real backdoors, which are there by design, are Microsoft's.

If these numbers are to be trusted, Ukraine has failed to distance itself from Microsoft (in fact the US government gave Microsoft another 'bailout' by offloading Ukrainian systems onto Microsoft, which keeps getting cracked by Russia) and the Kremlin warns Poland about deploying NATO nukes like Belarus had done with Russia (and then called them "tactical").

Poland is very vulnerable to Russia if it uses Windows this much and, unlike Taiwan, there's no sign of it changing. As the sister site put it: "To be safer (from its ambitious neighbour) Taiwan will need to boost GNU/Linux adoption a lot more. Microsoft is a national security threat."

It should not be unsayable: Russia loves Windows. It wants its adversaries to use Windows. It's so easy to crack. █

The OSI is focused on attacking the GPL and helping Microsoft's "AI" hype. Openwashing of plagiarism by Microsoft's OSI is nothing new and we saw that again on Tuesday (yesterday, part of a series from Mia Lykou Lund). When they say "DEEP DIVE: AI" remember that it is sponsored by Microsoft, just like Nick Vidal, a Microsoft shill inside OSI, who is now doing "Open Source AI + Supply Chain at OSI". So OSI is truly a Microsoft front group! It's clear that "Supply Chain" talking heads are now salaried by Microsoft and the Community Manager for the Open Source Initiative (OSI) is basically Microsoft. So Microsoft took over the OSI, ousted the founders, and now uses the former name ("OSI") to talk against its mission. Microsoft is the biggest "Supply Chain" risk, but it hijacked the voices that use the term.
