Summary: When old friends occupy key positions at the EPO (friends of Benoît Battistelli and of António Campinos), even when they lack knowledge and experience in the domain of patents, and when big business lobbyists call the shots it’s hardly shocking that what Campinos calls “diversity” is just a totally vacuous marketing buzzword
