An explanation

You might notice that the timestamps in these log entries show when I started writing them, and that those times are all in the evening. My thoughts at this time can be rather half-baked. This is observable in the trend of suggesting I'm going to do something and failing to accomplish anything near what I said I would.

I think, at the time, I felt like writing some ideas down and probably should have done so in a journal rather than a on public site. That is not to say that I am embarrassed to have those articles read, but rather that I am embarrassed to have published them in the way I did. Furthermore, I was also writing those logs partially for the sake of generating content for a sparse capsule.

I like Geminispace. It's a great concept, and it has merit. Unfortunately, I don't spend much time in Geminispace anymore. I haven't for a while. I primarily use the Internet to access useful information and knowledge, outside of video entertainment via Youtube and streaming services. The largely hobbyist nature of Gemini doesn't fit that role very well. Maybe things have changed though: I need to revisit the web of content I have bookmarked and see what's new out there.

Anyways, in the future I might share some more about what I'm doing in daily life, or share some more cool things that I come across. I know this capsule doesn't get many visitors and most of the traffic is probably crawlers for the few search engines that we have in Geminispace.

I am curious how many live visitors I have to this capsule, and I'm considering migrating to Jetforce, which has CGI support, so maybe I can create a ticker that live visitors can increment by replying to a captcha of sorts.
