Charachorder One — Having made the commitment to use only the Charachorder for all textual input on Bubble is slowing my posting frequency down massively. Right now there seem to be some issues with chording anyway so I will need to resolve this before I can begin finishing some of my larger drafts. AmiGemini and GCC — Had a horribly distracted morning again, but just couldn't let this one go. The final thing on my todo list for my AmiGemini setup was getting a comfortable line length, without excessive window decorations. Being the odd little duckling that I am. I'm not really a fan of anything more than 10-12 words per screen width of text. Without excessively large fonts. AmiGemini when in full screen mode therefore is quite uncomfortable for me to read in. My to-do list item was simple...
Setting up an aggregator. Creating some smoldebt. — Loving Bubble up to now however there isn't quite enough content to keep me absorbed on a daily basis. Expanding out a bit finally therefore. I delayed this as long as feasible to prevent dependencies on non-smol tech in my reading stack. Alas I now have more than 10 bookmarks and something must be done. In an effort to minimize smoldebt (or antismoldebt?) I've gone with the smallest stack readily available via WSL - molly-brown and gmisub....
AmiGemini with Bubble: AmiSSL meditations. — Making good progress on getting AmiGemini working sanely with Bubble. Added client certificate support to AmiGeminiProxy and migrated to that. This massively improves my browsing speed (not really a good thing, but, it's fine) and more importantly. Stops the AmiSSL related meditations. I'm still seeing other issues unrelated to AmiSSL but can't quite put my finger on them yet.
Alas no follow up post just yet as I seem to be hitting various limits within AmiGemini. Non stop guru meditations.
Posting for the first time from AmiGemini. Impressive that all this just works out of the box! I've been sick for a few days so playing around with WinUAE and enjoying Lemmings for the first time in almost 30 years. Posting from an emulated Amiga 1200 with 4MB+ of memory. Our household computer was a A500 with (later on) a memory pack installed. Felt like a beast at the time!
