Hi all. Once I moved to another distro I can't seem to ssh to my server. I'm considering tearing down the old server (I have a copy of everything) and set up a new one. Meaning yretek.com might change its certificates. Just so you know

A recent trouble in Antenna shows the need for more than one platform for whatever: sharing posts, forums, engines... Because yes, the owner of a platform has every right to disallow content that she or he or hän doesn't want there. However, there should be alternatives to protect freedom of speech and, also, to relief the pressure from platform owners so they can also exercise their own rights
No more English content on Yretek.com Well, more or less. The thing is that I decided to not adding more english "blog" entries on my capsule. As of lately I have only used English on my capsule to reply to other people. And I think this BBS is a better place for that kind of thing. That, compounded with it takes me a long time to write in English and that Lagrange autotranslator works better than me in translating... well it just seems to make more sense

The most significative difference between gemini and the smol web is that Gemini is an intentional effort for simplicity, while a small web might be small for whatever reasons.

Deleted my website, keeping my gopher and gemini. It's fascinating to find out the ammount of work a tiny website requires compared to a much larger gemini capsule. And to little gain.

Gemfeed for gopher? — I'm considering if it wouldn't be a good idea to use, mutatis mutandis, gemfeeds on gopher; making for an easy to implement subscription with clients such as lagrange, possibly others. Obviously this would require adoption by gopherites... just an idea
