1700 UTC - fashion/synthesis

I've recently started work on my first non-computer-related post - a treatise on my framework for approaching fashion, derived from perspectives on techwear and sustainable clothing. While I knew there's some inherent contradiction, I didn't anticipate just how much cognitive dissonance I'd be ironing out in the process. Techwear ("true" techwear - I'll get into that later) is a luxury fashion space, and writing on it in a manner divorced from consumerism is, in some ways, difficult. Some sections I've written feel a bit too much like marketing copy. There is, however, a brilliant underlying philosophy to its design, and I'm making progress toward expressing it in this way I've been looking for. I'm excited to present this as something cohesive.
