Human Connection on the Small Net

I've doxxed myself on both my capsule and my website. Why? Well, I'm the only one in the world with my name. My domain is registered to that name. All my contact information is available in public registries. Basically anyone who has a nefarious motive to find me is about two web searches away from getting everything anyway. Anyone without ill intentions is unlikely to make the effort unless they really have to, though. I just make it easier for that category.

Oh, before you're thinking of swatting me you should know that there is only one or two SWAT teams in Sweden, and the nearest one takes five hours to get here. Before even escalating that much a kind local police officer would wander over and knock on my door to see if everything is alright. Often when someone calls in a bomb threat some local police officer will just have a look and go "nah, it's just a geocache" before calling in the national bomb squad.

So yeah, I don't really have much to lose by doxxing myself. But everything to gain, as it turns out!

I hardly ever get any physical mail that isn't advertisements, bills, or bank statements. But yesterday I got a POSTCARD! ❤️
