Pumpkin Bread

Servings: 3 Loaves

Ingredients

1 cup margarine

3 cups white sugar

4 eggs

2/3 cup cold water

2 cups cooked pumpkin

1 tsp salt

1 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp cinnamon

2 tsp baking soda

1/2 cup raisins

1 cup walnuts

Instructions

Mix margarine and sugar, add eggs one at a time and mix well.

Add spices, salt, baking soda, and flour together.

Mix the spice/salt/soda/flour combination to egg mixture alternately with water.

Mix pumpkin, raisins, and nuts into the egg mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until it passes the "clean toothpick test", where sticking a toothpick into the bread and taking the toothpick out results in a clean toothpick.
