BBC (British national broadcaster) provides, for UK-based IP addresses, multi-stream playlists of up-to 720p quality live TV.
These can be accessed by most video players that handle playlists. MVC, VLC, Mplayer, Celluloid were tested to work.
The streams are delayed by around 45 seconds so don't use them for clock sync. They contain subtitle streams (programme-dependent).
