Here’s what’s important: the filename on your system doesn’t matter. All that matters is the URL you upload it to.

How to upload a file

Here’s me staring at my capsule. Before doing anything else, I need to click “Specify link for upload”.

Specify the filename you want one the server and click “Send”. I’m going to use “test.jpg”.

You end up on a URL telling you that the file doesn’t exist. That’s right, of course it doesn’t. We’re going to upload a file. In the screenshot below I clicked into the address bar (or use Ctrl+L) and went all the way to the end of the URL to show you that it now ends in “/test.jpg”.

Now pick “Upload Page with Titan” from the context menu (or use Ctrl+U). This shows you the “Upload with Titan” form. Switch to the “File” tab.

Verify that “File size” gives you a number below 100,000 and a “MIME type” of “image/png” or “image/jpeg”. Make sure the “Identity” is set correctly! In the screenshot below it’s unset. For your capsules, the token is ignored. Hit “Upload” when you’re ready.

Now I’m ready!

This is what it looks like, in my case. Notice how the file is called “lagrange-image05-desktop.jpg” on my system but it still ends up as “test.png” because of the URL!

Click “Upload” and you’re done! 🚀🚀🎉😄
