When adding new rooms, consider the following:

Is the group of rooms with the items and exits therein entertaining to read?

Is there some kind of lore one learns when reading it all, some explanation for the current state of affairs?

Is there some riddle to solve, a secret to discover?

Beware of mazes for the sake of it. Mazes are a clever thing to build, but a tedious thing to play, unless there's some actual problem solving: hints that help you find your way back if only you carefully read what's described.
