rant about politics

I am not a fan of politics, never have been. I don't like reading about it, hearing about it, seeing about it. Thats because people aren't interested in genuine heartfelt discussion and idealogical compromise, theyre interested in pointing fingers, playing with scapegoats and strawmen. Grown ass adults acting like children who would rather play the blame game with the polar opposite of their ideaology and say "this type of person is the reason for all the worlds problems! Look at how (insert political group) is to blame for our suffering! If only that country adopted Y economic system!"

In my real life experience, ones who single mindedly talk about politics and ideaologies are arrogant and bullheaded people who think they are so much smarter and well informed than everyone else, and their opinions are the *right* ones.

News stations like fox and CNN don't even bother to hide their bias, instead further creating a polarizing divison by full on villifying the other side. Endless echo chambers, meaningless opinions, confirmation biases and tribalistic monkey bullshit that has ripped our country apart into segregated pieces. News stations have turned into brainwashing manipulative garbage that only further serve to divide the nation in twane.

The political well has been poisoned beyond recovery, there are no intelligent, fair, and well thought out discussions anymore only shit flinging and slander campaigning. There is no coming to a common understanding or compromise, one side has to 'win' and the other 'lose' like a sports match. A 'discussion' in poilitics now often boils down to arguing with people till both sides are blue in the face while getting defensive of their own positions to the point no mutual ground has been made.

The best part is that this is all acording to plan. Powerful organizations and old money families at the very top of the economic food chain are the ones who *really* call the shots, and not one of them benefit from the common civilians being well educated and tolerant of eachothers various contradictory beliefs, we might just collectively begin to recognize and do something about the centuries of power games and resource exploitation that has left our world in desperate condition which our children and their children will surely suffer for. We might see the *real* problems with the world instead of just pointing fingers at eachother.

Remember we aren't people to them, we are effectively livestock/economic flow producers. Animals to be used for work and profit, then to be discarded once you are no longer useful. They do not benefit from us being properly educated or tolerant of eachother. Just smart enough to run the machines and shuffle paperwork, too dumb to realize theyve been fucked over by a system that threw them overboard a LONG LONG time ago.

It doesn't matter the economic or ruling system, the aggresively greedy and power hungry will always find ways to poke holes into whatever system you happen to pick over time. Why? to gain an advantage, to rise to the top of the game. Because they can and get off on it. This is the reality of human social hierarchy. Tops and bottoms of the social ladder are natural structures for social animals to create, and us human beings have come up with some interesting hierarchies for sure.

There is a theme throughout history, though; the ones at the top control the ones at the bottom through various means; fear, confusion, rage, violence, or maybe if particularly clever, turn the bottom against themselves in a never ending cycle of tearing eachother down to pieces over trivial differences.

Perhaps now you are getting the picture I paint. I dispise politics because it is one big misdirection ploy that further incites discord amongst us. Yet another tool used by the few and powerful to opress the many and weak. Many peoples lives have been *consumed* by politics, their thought space full of nothing but bullshit that doesn't matter in the least.

But no, the politically minded will keep tearing eachother to shreds over every little difference in their positions. social issues, blaming this person or that economic system or so and so inequality for all of the problems with the world. A never ending discord between two sides literally engineered to never get along.
