So im drawing a blank for what to write about at the moment. Just checked the helium miner and its doing great activity wise, woke my bearded dragon up from her nappy noop to enjoy the twilight with me, the cats are chillin and life is good today. Put in some job resumes and called up the temp agency which previously hired me. Im getting serious about the job search.

Lightning bugs are beautiful to watch. Flowing water is calming to listen to. Cats lick themselves in a comforting rythm.

Glass

I spent a good hour cleaning my glass piece today. A simple bowl. Slender and small, delecate. A REAL bitch to clean in some spots, nigh impossible in others. Its probably never been as clean as it has been today thanks to some serious paitence and picking.

Unchanging Sentiments

The piece means something to me, and maybe one other person in this world. Sentimental memories shared with a once close friend, whom it originally belonged to. The friend is a friend no longer, that bridge long burned. Persons no longer who they once were, yet the tokens of seniment, glass and memory, remain.

The price one pays for connecting to others is ultimately losing them. Loosing them to personal change over time, to our own self-destructive tendencies, to plain old death itself. Yet it is still worth connecting despite that knowledge, in spite of it even. Give up on those things and the void will fester where hope once was in your heart.
