A cover letter to tilde.pink

Greetings, tilde.pink.

I picked tilde.pink because it listed itself as being web free, and that sounds like a wonderful goal. Maybe my age is showing, but I prefer the slow speed of delayed e-mails and lost messages.

A quick browse around the pod shows some fun stories, and sad stories, or just quirky tidbits. That is probably the best proof I can get that humans are in there, instead of chat bots talking among themselves.

My main interests are mostly techy. During the $DAYJOB I write fancy software and at night my alter ego writes crappy software, which is a nice way to keep things separate because my night software would never run during the day and vice versa.

Other sources of curiosity include philosophy, sarcasm, tea drinking and some other hobbies that are so boring no one would dare annoy me while I do them.

My goals in life are to take it easy, and continue to use weird tech until the day I die, even if my bank says otherwise.
