subconscious motivations

subject: patient 2946a

the subject has shown the motivation to reflect and dig into their subconscious to find the basic needs motivating certain actions. despite working on this for 6 subsequent weeks, it's difficult to reach the subconscious. there are multiple layers preventing this.

meditation appeared to be promising at first, then the subject was unable to handle the flood of emotions emerging. since then we have stopped this approach. instead we have turned to analyzing behavioural triggers as a means to reach deeper into the subconscious.

it's uncertain whether i will be successful in assisting the subject. failure may result in them closing up into a form of light depression that they may have trouble ridding themselves of. ultimately the subject must find their own path through this.

from what the subject has told me, their family is in turmoil. conflict is omnipresent and triggered by many superficial and irrelevant (my analysis, not theirs) events. they won't solve this without getting to the root of it. something raw is beneath this conflict. my unfounded guess is that the family has drifted apart in expectation and vision. that core frustration that comes with the lack of understanding another, it results in a powder keg with the potential to blow up in everyone's faces.

there never are any easy solutions. sadly
