time sinks

Finally I feel my gemini presence to be stable, most of my stuff is migrated to my own setup. The development is progressing fine. At the same time, it's a freakin time sink. Not as bad as the Regular Web, because everything about presentation is gone, but still.

When I browse through antenna, I find many cool, inspirational ideas which make me ponder, yet another time sink. In the end everything in geminispace is under development and people come up with crazy good ideas to solve them. I love how antenna went ahead and solved some of the content discovery problem. The search issue remains to be solved (for me) and even more important the "bookmarks" issue. When I stumble across interesting content (and some offer comments on their capsules) it's tough to keep up with them and register a "change" or "follow-up", or to find them again after some time has passed. Eventually some brain will think of something. I am definitely looking foward to that.
