an extreme view on extreme views

i try to avoid making super extreme or particularly edgy opinions. i'm talking about an attitude that goes like this:

> x? no way. x is a piece of garbage! only absolute /losers/ use x! what chumps!

that is to say, i don't want to spend a lot of time on the rhetorical, angry side of an argument; it just makes me look like a jerk, and if anything, it's more emotionally-driven, rather than logically-driven.

i'm all too guilty of making statements like this in the past. i spent a lot of time fiddling in rhetorical / extreme politics, and at one point i was even one of those pedantic "techbros" that nobody can stand to be around.

anyway, i'll keep this short. i don't think there's a reason to make it longer, anyway.
