picture taking!

yes i went out and took pictures today.

my bro and i went to elk island, a quaint little bundle of trees next to a lake here in canada. we saw a pathway we didn't go down before, and after a *lot* of slushy snow, we realized that this was a bad idea. a fun adventure either way!

the "automatic" setting on my camera is so tempting. in fact, i don't think i took a single manual shot while we were out there (although one picture required a manual focus). i should get back into the habit of taking a notebook with me and recording the apeture/exposure of all my shots.

i didn't develop them yet. in fact, i didn't finish a roll, and since i can do two rolls at a time, it'll probably be a while before i get a chance to see them! oh, the suspense!

no animals were out, which is weird for a spring evening, but at least i was able to drive my brother crazy with my frequent "wait stop. i like the way the light hits that pole! *click*" moments.

it was warm. *too* warm! i actually had to take my toque off for a while (for you southerners, a toque is what we call those knit caps that keep your head warm). just a really good day! i think it was like +9C or something. ahhh yes.

i could add links to my photography here on tilde.pink, but i don't want to bog up their servers with big images, so i'd probably have to compress them to heck... we'll see. someday, maybe, but not now.

anyway yeah that's all. sleep well (whenever you happen to sleep, anyway)!!
