on food

i really like food. food is good. i have a whole buttload of recipes in an orgmode file on my tiny laptop, so that i can find the recipe i want quickly instead of having to sift through my god awful handwriting (but i do plan on making a handwritten hard copy with cleaner writing someday).

i like making bannock, cause it's a good and easy native bread. i generally make a bigger loaf of bannock because it is *delicious* when it's toasted the next day! and the day after that. especially with jam. yes, please. it's nice.

i also like nachos, tacos, that taco bake thing, pizza, pancakes, pies, fried things, grilled things, and baked things. i'm not a vegan, but i generally try my best to replace meat with other ingredients.

maybe i should make a directory just for food recipes... yeah, that's a good idea. i'll put all my favourite stuff in there because, even though i make a lot of food, i have a decently small amount of favourites that i'd like to share.

it's funny. when the web came out and people were told to put "anything at all" on it to try to get it popular, most of the content was food recipes! i think that's pretty cute. it's one thing that keeps us all together: we love to make food. i think a good heafty amount of people like making tasty things. it's good.
