New job

So, I got a new job, back in the computing industry despite my usual misgivings. The company seem great, my coworkers are friendly and smart, and I'm using all the stuff I'm meant to be using (Cloud! Kubernetes!). I was thinking I would feel quite a bit better if I got a job, because the panic a new job usually instills distracts me from anything else. I'm usually trying so hard to get up to speed and worrying that I'm not doing enough that I forget to worry about anything else.

Not this time though. I already feel like I've been in the job for years, despite only being here for a month or so. It's a strange feeling. And it's a bit worrying. Oh well, better keep plugging away...
