Learning Rust

I have been trying to get back into coding and decided I would try learning Rust. Rust is the coding language that appeals to me most even if it's probably not the best for my use case or skill level. The idea of Rust is appealing to me. The minimalism, speed, and security of it are pretty cool. The first programing language I tried was C and the main reasons were the same except maybe not the security part. I really don't know why minimalism and speed appeal to me so much. Rust seems like C, but better so I chose Rust. I never got very far with C or any other programing language. I learn the basics from some tutorials and the make some basic terminal programs like a todo manager. That is pretty much my main goal with programing anyway, but most of what I make is so simple that it's not fulfilling. Because of this I've decided to set a bigger goal for myself and try making a game. I think I'll try to make something like Mario, so I'm looking forward to that.
