OK, i have finally done it: I have started to dabble into Gemini.

Why? Because i got sick of the commerciweb a long time ago and it finally looks like Gemini is here to stay. So, what will i do with this new opportunity? I think i mostly recreate what i have done on the old web: I will use this site... eerr... "capsule" to blog a bit, to write down the various bits of advice to myself regarding the administration of an Open BSD system and meander the stream of wisdom and time ;-)

years resolution

Yes, i can hear you: Why start with a new years resolution at the end of January? And you would be right... but i can explain! My wife is from Vietnam, so we celebrate the western new year... and now Tet, which is the Vietnamese equivalent to the Chinese new year. Sound complicated? It is.

Alas... i found for myself that i got during COVID and the lock downs (and a throughout shitty time in general) a bit too much into the habit of drinking a glass of whisky in the evening. Nothing bad with this! But it got TOO regularly for my taste. My goal for February is to not drink whisky or any "hard stuff" at all and only drink alcohol when it is with a special dinner or on other social occasions. Perhaps this habit will stick for longer... lets just see.
