Pona 1. Day

As i write this down i am learning toki pona myself, so i hope that this articles not only help me to get a grasp on toki pona, but provide some form of value for somebody else out there in the geminiverse.


As you are now reading this page, i suppose you already know what toki pona is, so i get right into it. This "learning log" follows the PDF "toki pona in 76 illustrated lessons"


After about an hour i think i can now remember the following:

kili - fruit

pipi - insect

jo - to have

lili - small little, young

suli - big, tall long, important

jan - person, someone, anyone

moli - killing, dying, death

ilo - tool

(subject other than mi or sine) + li + (something)

kili li moku - fruit is food

pipi li pona - the insect is good

ona li pona - it is good

ona li lilli - it is small

mi moku lili e kili lili - I nibble on the little fruit
