A wave, a wink, and a nod

I used to think becoming someone was what this ("life") was all about.

Yet none of the non-human animals seemed bothered by/with the like.

And you *know* just how perfect the word 'bothered' is in the previous sentence.

So why all the emphasis on - if not hullabaloo over - becoming someone in this *therein/thereby* godforsaken species?

Mental illness is some pretty gosh-danged contagious schtuff, no?

Speaking of which:

I detest high-brow British accents - especially whispered.

How nice to have recently learned of "stty [-]echo". A well-placed pair disabling/enabling echo makes my "covertly type a post" script even better.

Aren't thoughts but outbursts of mental illness?

I'm often waiting to be alone in order to write what I hope will attract others whose interaction might cure my being so alone.

It's not easy wanting to interact with others who you're pretty sure won't want to interact with you.
