Day Two

My second day in the tildeverse gemini ecosystem.

I've figured out a way (thanks ~nytpu@tilde.team) to get a gemini blog automagically publishing, and even have an RSS feed be automatically created.

That's very exciting.

I hope to get some time over the weekend to really dig into this whole thing. Coloured text in bombadillo eludes me as to how I can create it. I know that there is some way that it will parse ANSI escape codes, but I can't figure out how to get vim to actually type the initial portion, \033 but as a raw character it seems. I can't figure out how to get the regex they have to match anything other than the non printing character that I can't type.

But alas, it's very low down on my list of priorities for now.

As it stands, I have a tooter instance set up, a gemblog set up, mosh and tmux set up for that sweet always on IRC connection. I made a post in the BBS (or bbj) Introductions thread, before I log off for the evening I'm going to go and check that out to see if anyone has responded, or if there are any new posts!
