I’m-a back!

Like would say Mario (or Luigi. Luigi is a better character, change my mind), I’m-a back!

When I last published a post in my gemlog, I was a stay-at-home dad, living in a far too small appartment with money problems. How much my life changed since then!

I’m now a vicar (that is, trainee pator) in my church, a very demanding job with long days (and evenings), but a job that owes me a real salary. I’m no Bezos (but I wouldn’t be, the capacity of watching myself in a mirror is priceless), but I believe in what I do *and* I now have enough to rent an appartement big enough to live correctly.

Of course, I had to move out. In the process, I broke my computer… losing in my SSH-keys to tilde.club. That wasn’t that problematic in the beginning, as it took me almost 3 months to recover an Internet access, thus the keys would have been useless for that time. But after the move, my life was just too busy to read how to create and apply new SSH-keys (thank you very much, ~deepend, for your help!), and anyhow I had to find a new balance in my life before I could manage a gemlog again.

I believe (and hope!) that I found this new balance. I found time to recover my access to my tilde account, I even reput my own little server online.

About my little self-hosting project

So, I’ll work to make this place alive again. Maybe it will change a little, on form or content, maybe not. But my life being so much different, I can’t imagine that it could be effectless; however I didn’t published so much before so these changes won’t necessarily be perceptible.

We’ll see.
