A 10 year old samsung note 10.1 tablet is apparently capable of running android 13 with lineage os, it was a jump from kitkat straight to android 13. Thanks to the xda developer I breathed life into a 10 year old tablet that my brother game me saying it was useless and can't even run any apps.

I wrote about my views on internet privacy

gemini://gemini.ctrl-c.club/~scientiac/log/some_thoughts_on_privacy.gmi

Since one person's view isn't enough, I request you to write your thoughts in a gemlog and link it to me here, so that everyone's view can be linked from everyone's article and let the reader see from all the different perspectives.

I wrote a little something after a long time. If anyone has had similar experiences, I'd love to read about it.

My exams are finally over, and now the holidays start. I want to do a simple project learning rust in this free time.

I wrote another poem today. Here:

Took a different approach on writing a poem. Since poems are always said to be a brainchild of a single person.

This is a poem written by two different peoples.

When you are the leader of a group, you have very limited time to do the things you love because 'so many people with so many problems' .

Before.... I would spend hours reading articles in the geminispace, but now I barely open it to water my plant on astrobotany.

Kinda Finished Making a Mirror of my gemini:// Capsule to https:// , the design is heavily inspired by @skyjake 's design of Lagrange.

Suggestions are heavily appreciated. I am a bit skeptical about the usage right of that font, can anybody tell me if I am allowed to use that? It was on my Custom ROM's fonts setting so I searched it and found the ttf on github.

At last I eventually decide to study Computer Engineering. Things have been a bit wonky lately, I stopped learning python and started C. Just because it was in the syllabus and thought it would be better to study C for better grades and ditch python for now.

I logged into station in Lagrange on my android TV. It's pretty good, I dont have a wireless mouse / keyboard so I am using my phone as a mouse/keyboard. The TV remote can only scroll in a particular page.

After almost a month I posted a poem on my gemini capsule. It feels so good to show people that I am still alive on the geminiverse.

Do you guys remember the date when you joined the geminiverse?

Just wanted to point out that a "fork" of 'Ariane' (Source code found on web-archive) called 'Buran' (by : Corewala) has been spotted in the wild.

https://github.com/Corewala/Buran

Any thoughts on the legal fork-ability of 'Ariane' from web-archive? Is it allowed?

Wow Just after I found out that deedum can handle client certificates, I come across Lagrange Alpha. I salute @skyjake for making it possible on every main operating system. Gemini is going to get pretty mature on android in 2022. Super exited for gemini!! What are you guys planning this year?

I have deleted all the social media from my phone: Mastodon, Minds (Just looking up), Reddit (Those were all I got after getting out from the "meta"-system.) I am preparing for the Engineering Entrance Examination so I need to focus my syllabus rather than linux, gemini and other things but couldn't do it. I come back to doing the linux things and watching and learning about linux instead of practicing numericals of physics. Now the only social media on my phone is 'station'. Does anyone have any suggestions ? I realize that if I can't capture a scholarship quota for Computer Engineering, I will loose a year and also get one year far from learning more about computers and programming.
