Holy crap... ed is a thing

So I've never heard of 'ed' before I got into this pubnix.

I'm currently writing this post with it.

Having to edit line-by-line means I am currently

putting a lot more effort into doing it right

the first time.

It also is making me conscious of line width

for some reason. I can't explain it.

I'd definitely recommend trying it out

if you haven't done it yet;

this thing's existed since 1969 apparently

and is therefore one of the granddaddies

of all the scrappy terminal editors we use

and adore here.

It might become a more permanent fixture

in my coding repertoire; not sure yet.
