Taking a month off

Oops, I forgot to use all my vacation days. That's sorta easy to do when you had a 3 month sabbatical on the books: I didn't feel any urgency to take other days off.

My parents are visiting for the holidays. It's their first time in Ireland so I'm taking full advantage of their trip and my glut of vacation time. I'll be off work for 4 weeks straight, right around Christmas.

It feels like a lot, because it is a lot. I would like to space things out better in the future, but I am thankful for the time off, and thankful for my parents visiting, and thankful for having a boss who is supportive of my schedule.
