Welcome back me!

Hey, so this will work as both a FIRST again type post and catch up those who maybe remember me.

Whats up with me now?

First and foremost I transitioned during my hiatus. It was really hard on me personally but a LONG time coming. I finally worked up the self courage to actually accept myself for who I was take the plunge.

While its all very fresh still I won't inundate everyone here with queer stuff too much - that's mostly on mastodon. My HTTP and gemini blogs are very much music and tech related primarily.

But doesn't rule that style content out of course! This has been a pretty safe space :)

Why did I stop

I mainly stopped because of the move, and well, the obvious personal struggles (see above). But the move really hit me.

I moved houses and shared some updates in:

Which took me offline for a while. I had stopped writing in my HTTP blog while on gemini since this fit my writing style and its minimal style really fit how my brain works to write.

Then it took a long time to get my server back online really and I didn't have a PC space and just a lot of mess to deal with at the house (renovating).

And then afterwards I had quite a fair bit of personal issues.

When did I come back

While my personal life is starting to settle even after so long I genuinely missed this place.

The final push came from starting back up my mastodon in the wake of the #riptwitter nonsense.

Any plans?

Nope, I just want to reacquaint myself with the space, check out some of the new stuff people have been building, and catch up on my reading.

I had kept a reader on my phone so I shouldn't be TOO far behind.
