📻 RK3 Radio!

I've had zero time to work on any side projects over the last few weeks, hence the lack of log posts, but I got up super early this morning to do some server admin and snuck in something I've been meaning to do for ages. I've setup a little Internet Radio Station...

Back in the day, like, way back, I ran a shoutcast stream [Radio Korruptor] that played my DJ mixes 24/7 over my freshly installed ADSL. I think I could handle three or four listeners at most, but for some reason it got relayed by a Uni in the 'States and there was a little gang of ears on it for most of the time that it ran.

When podcasts were invented, I slowly morphed it, and the RK2 Podcast was born.

RK2 was great for most of the 10 years that it ran, but DJs are an entitled lot, and toward the end a few of the guests I'd been letting on required more management than I could be bothered with. So I stuck a pin in it. Until last year, when I kicked off RK3. No guests this time, just a way of spreading my sets to those that know.

Last week I setup a new box to act as a Valheim server and it has a *lot* of disc space, so I've done what any self respecting person would do, and filled it with my mixes and setup an Icecast stream. RK3 Radio is born!

There's about a week's worth of stuff in the queue, all in random order, meaning a lucky-dip of quality techno/tech-house/progressive and melodic, from 2005 to the present day.

I'm not listing it anywhere, or promoting it, except for this post. So if you like melodic techno, here's an m3u for your player of choice:

(The box supports 32 listeners atm. First come, first served :)
