The Locomotive were throwing their weight around but were shut out today in the first game against the speedier Dragons. The surprise goblin entrants from Lower Boyner were surprisingly tenacious opponents to the Hammerheads, but were no match for the dwarf team's crisp passing. The final match between the top-rated elf teams from Norville and Obern was an exciting one to watch and very even through two periods, but the Daggers' defense fell apart in the later going and the Hats won the game decisively.
