Wives

For a man there is nothing so wonderful as a good wife. She complements him and commits to him as he commits to here, to work together in navigating life. I sing for my wife, every Friday evening,

Proverbs 31:10–31 to encloth this in words to recall and remind of her worth.

Gratitude

Nothing will bring you more peace and happiness than living with gratitude. Gratitude not just for our obvious blessings, but for even the ones we might be inclined to consider mundane.

I say the following, in Hebrew, after each use of the restroom in grateful acknowledgment of the miraculous nature of our bodies.

> Blessed are You, God our Lord, King of the universe, who has formed man with wisdom and created within him many openings and hollows. It is revealed and known before the throne of Your glory that if one of them were to be closed or if one of them were to be opened, it would be impossible to survive even for a brief time. Blessed are You, God, Who heals all flesh and acts wondrously.
