Video update

I have previously laid out some of the techniques of analog video synthesis that I have tried to implement and extend in its digital incarnation.

Video Synthesis

Finally, after a year of intermittent programming, several trials that led nowhere or in wrong directions, bugs and crashes, doubts and boredom, the video series is now completed, I think. There were several challenges to come to grips with, from practical debugging to aesthetic decisions, and finally the inescapable question of finding the right title. Since this is an abstract work with non-figurative motivations, a total lack of aboutness, and knowing that an audience will always cling to any scant evidence of a solid interpretation or some ultimate meaning, the safest choice would be Untitled, obviously, but that one is so used up and hard to distinguish from all the companion works out there with the same name. Instead, I ended up with something so overstated as to become impossible to take literally:

No screening is scheduled yet, and it won't happen on the internet before it has happened in a gallery space of some kind. Maybe it will stay offline forever.
