Peptalk the Oracle

I must say it has been fun to write this program. I'm anything but a programmer, more of a poet, so problems of software engineering and finding clever solutions to programming problems for its own sake really don't appeal so much to me. But writing this program has been more of a generative poetry project. As such, I hope it will remain interesting in a frozen state. Of course it's possible for anyone to modify it should they want to.

Peptalk's output changes over time, although if you use it often it will say very similar things, or repeat verbatim some previous message. Not so different from our closest friends, who have their favourite themes, topics of discussion, and expressions they always return to.

It would be fun to make a gemini page that could generate one new oracle message every minute or so. I know it's possible because it has been done, but it's not the kind of task I have tried to solve so far. If I find out how to, and if it turns out to be feasible, I might put it up here. Otherwise maybe some kind and tech savvy person might want to try it.
