Announcement

The promised guide to obscure metal is underway. I'll publish it in long article format, probably in two parts, and update the pages whenever there's more to add. There will be nothing to subscribe to.

First out is an introduction about how I got into it. This is a genre that I can't pretend to know anything about. (Soon I might not be able to pretend I don't know anything about it.) Suggestions for bands I should look up are welcome, I won't write reviews and perhaps I won't have the patience to hear even one song. Unless the band really stands out.
