Relatedly, the surgeon I've been consulting with for top surgery submitted a preauthorization to Medicaid with what we THOUGHT was all the necessary information. But Medicaid took one look at the WPATH standards of care and decided "fuck that softball nonsense, we're gonna GATEKEEP" and now I need more ughhhh

I absolutely hate the state of healthcare in the US.
