A duo of gangsters are on the blank streets of the city.

Gangster 1: Oh man, we have so much money, our boss will be glad!

Gangster 2: Yes. But why do we have to travel through the empty section of the city?

G1: To get away with crime, of course! You can always get away with anything if no one sees you do it.

Whoa! An earthquake! But it's a tiny one.

G2: Did you feel that?

G1: Me too. I thought it was just my imagination.

G1: Hey, where did our money go?

G2: I don't know. Someone must'ive yoinked it from us.

G1: Like a cop?

G2: No. A real cop would never yoink money from us that fast.

The first gangster notices a blur.

G1: Hmm! That must be the guy who stole the very money we stole in the first place!

G2: Guess we'll have to walk all the way back to the bank and steal the money all over again.

G1: Wait! I have a brilliant idea. Hey, blur! I know you're here to mess with us. Come at me!

The very fast man zoomed and punched one of them!!

G2: Oh dear!

The second gangster pulled out a pistol and shot the quick man multiple times,

but he evaded the bullets just fine.

G2: I gotta get out of here and rob more money!

The second gangster then ran away, only to be surrounded by a bunch of stone walls that rose from the ground.

G2: Damn! That's something a real cop wouldn't do to us!

Mr. Lightning showed up beside his sidekick Qiana.

Lightning: You did a good job, Qiana.

Qiana: Thanks.

Lightning: You see, you've improved a lot over the years. For instance, you've gained more control of your earth powers.

Qiana: I have?

Lightning: Yes. It's hard, because they're a lot different than electric powers. Plasmas and solids... they're completely different states. Knowing how to surf is not the same as knowing how to ski.

Qiana: Got it.

Qiana: By the way... is it possible to use both powers together?

Lightning: Good question.

Lightining: Yes, it's possible. But you have to split your Energy Crystals in half, and use those different halves together. If you add another Energy Crystal in your body, it might not handle it.

Qiana: And if it can't handle it... will it explode?

Lightning: Unfortunately, yes. Trust me, you don't want to end up like this.

Qiana: I won't explode, I promise.

Lightning: By the way, would you like to have some ice cream?

Qiana: Uh, sure.

Lightning: What flavour would you like?

Qiana: Lemon sorbet, please.

Vera: Oh hi Qiana! How's it going?

Qiana: Good. Just stopped a bank robbery, the usual.

Vera: All by yourself?

Qiana: Actually, no. Lightning and I stopped it together. The money are in their rightful place now.

Vera: And what about the crooks?

Qiana: Well, they got arrested by a cop with electrical plugs for hands. So it's all good.

Vera: Electrical plugs for hands? Why did you bring that up?

Qiana: I don't know. I'm just telling you what I remembered.

Vera: Do you think there's something strange going on with the cops?

Qiana: No, not at all. It's simply an observation to a little detail, that's all.

Vera: That's a pretty big deal if a police officer has strange-looking hands that can fit in a wall socket.
