Visualizing problems

Visualization may help some people with solving their problems or finding solutions to difficult problems. If you're that type of person (like myself), it's a good idea to use this approach. However, remember that any visualization biases you toward a limited set of answers. In view of this, to make sure you're not missing any opportunity, consider these tips:

Don't use visualization in the early stages of understanding the problem.

Use more than one way of visualizing.

Mix visualization with other ways of structuring your thoughts.
